- Why I Like Sawtelle:
- It's my hood. It still - as of 2009 - has a small town, entrepreneurial feel, although big condos and god knows what is coming on the corner of Mississippi & Sawtelle where Yamaguchi's used to be and up toward SM Blvd., where TNT Auto used to be. Let alone that one of the biggest buildings was swept up in a fire sale and now is home to the Saudi Consulate! Yep, the big green monster - that's them.
